The gardens of Château de Villandry

Four terraces and 6 magnificent formal gardens grace the grounds of the Château de Villandry. Famous the world over, the gardens of Villandry attract many curious visitors who come to marvel at this undeniable expertise. Decorative kitchen garden, sun garden, water garden and numerous events and exhibitions throughout the year.

The gardens of Château de Rivau

The garden at Rivau is surprisingly different from its neighbours. The medieval château of Rivau is surrounded by 14 "fairytale" gardens. They take young and old on a marvellous journey. A real dreamlike interlude in your daily life, a visit not to be missed between Gargantua's vegetable garden and Alice in Wonderland's labyrinth.

Domaine Royal de Château Gaillard

The gardens of Château Gaillard are located in Amboise, close to our hotel. Just a 5-minute drive will take you to this splendid garden designed by the most famous gardener of the 15th century, Dom Pacello de Marcogliano.
The royal estate of Château Gaillard was the site of the first Renaissance gardens to be planted in France. It was a laboratory for Dom Pacello, where he created the Queen Claude plum and planted the first orange trees in France.
